A guy once sent in a letter and about three weeks after his discovery of being placed in the letter pages, he gets a letter, that paper in the mail that isn't junk, from a girl in Jamaica. Follow the link to the story of the guy who would have gotten laid, if he lived nearer to the girl, all because of the Incredible Hulk.

When it comes down to it, I'm a romantic. It really is something special when someone loves someone so much that they will hold on to anything that gives them back a few seconds with loved ones.
Here is a story about an elderly man who would call his deceased wife's Verizon's voice mail, just so he could hear her voice. After Verizon switched over, the VM was culled. When Verizon heard about how the man was calling that number just to hear her, they found a back up and placed it back up for him.
