Apple has started to create a site with podcast and all that jazz for the iPhone and conceivable the iTouch. So now, it's possible that you, and by you I mean those incredible people that actually do like to create programs, have the ability to create apps for the iPhone/Touch.
It also has specs for developing web materials for the iPhone/Touch too.
