If you keep picking it, it will never scab

Someone at the YABS forum over at CBR wonders if now is a good time to become a scab Hollywood writer?

Now, if I wanted to pitch [for the next Superman movie], how would I go about this? I'd need an agent, I imagine.

...

And I don't think it's impossible since a guy named Alex Ford wrote a Superman screenplay back in 1998 with no prior credentials. He got an agent based on his screenplay and treatment and he actually got a meeting with Jon Peters.

Normally, I'd say lightning like that doesn't strike twice. But with the strike looming and indecision in the air, I think it might just strike twice.

Most people seem to think it's a bad idea.

Scabs are ignored into financial ruin. Don't be a scab.
