No snark. Just love.

Congratulations to Gene Yang and First Second Books.

Yang's American Born Chinese was nominated for the National Book Award in the category of Young Person's Literature. It's believed that ABC is the first graphic novel to be nominated for a prestigious National Book Award.

Yang also has posted on the Internet his final project proposal for his Master's of Education degree which explored the untapped educational potential of comics.

Cool.
