Earth-2 is back? Wasn't it already back?

Comicboards.com has a list fo changes that were made to the Infinite Crisis Hardcover (or I8HC as the kids call it).

They think the changes indicate that Earth-2 is back.

And the Biggie... When Kal-L is dying in Kara's arms, in the comic book, Kal tells Power Girl he'll always be there for her and now he knows what Lois was trying to say. He says, "It's not going to end. It's never going to end... for us..." then two wordless panels, with Kal looking up into space, then the panel where he says Lois' name for the last time, and then he dies.

WELL..... In the ICk HC, those two wordless panels gain some dialogue from Kal. After he says, "It's never going to end for us..." he then tells Peege, "...One day you'll see... they're still out there..." Then says Lois' name and dies.

"THEY'RE still out there?!??!!!!!"

But hasn't Earth-2 existed since the Morrison/Quitely book of the same name?
